My father is 64 years old. I am 38 now. I fear to my father in my childhood and keep little distance and agree his words.. now also I keep distance and accept his words and give same respect to him bcz he should not feel that I have grown or he became aged.. Happy father.
my papa(I use to say my father) is only of 39 and me 18.when we go out anywhere, people have confusion about our father-son relation nd they generally let us as brothers. the story of my fathers struggle often fill my eyes and ofcource of anyone else....I m lucky that i was also a part of that.what he has done and properly doing for me, i can't xplain it. My Daddy was 61 years young when I was born. Some of my favorite memories are about the great times we had. I loved his barber shop with the big glass windows. I loved the garden that he always grew.....one big enough that almost all vegetables were grown. I will never forget the lessons of faith I learned when we were fishing together. It's kind of odd but I am older than he was when he had me now. Still, after all this time, I still miss and love Daddy. He was an exceptional person. His folks were German Baptists ie "Dunkards" and didn't believe in war. When Daddy was drafted in WWI, he had to decide whether to serve his country or become a CO. Being a CO in WWI days wasn't so easy......You would never have survived if you'd run and hid in Canada. Daddy chose to serve his country. That has made ALL the difference. I became a Nurse and served the Veterans at a VA hospital as my last nursing job. I miss the days from when I sit on Daddy's lap and he sang me songs like "Red Wing" and "My Darling Nellie Grey" so many more......From the ages, I can say, the love of a Father NEVER leaves us.

A real father is not just a father ,but a big brother and if you listen and watch .not talk you will also be a real father
My dad... He has been there through thick and thin for me. At times we bump heads, really because we are so much alike, and yet distinctly different at times. We have always been close, no matter how much distance is between us on the map. I'm an only child, although my dad says it felt like he had three to four children! Dad, I want you to know that I cherish all the times we have had together... and that I look forward to the many yet to come. Thank God we have each other...'Dad & the Peanut' always♡
The one and only time my family and I went on vacation, we BEGGED our dad for a souvenir. He said, "Why? You were just there."
My brother and sisters and I had ALWAYS wanted to get ice cream from the "ice cream man" like all our friends did in the summertime, but my dad could "squeeze a penny until the indian rode the buffalo" as the saying goes. So he wouldn't have to part with his penny (actually, it was a nickel then, he told us that, "when we hear the music playing, it means he ran out of ice cream." (And we believed him, because he was Dad).
When we were in high school, my brother's friends TP'd our house one Easter and they used so much toilet paper (we had ten trees in our front yard), that it looked like it snowed. My dad being our dad, made us take it all down and save it. When my mom went to the bathroom and went for the toilet paper, there was a snail inside. And yet, they remained married for over 55 years. When we asked dad how they stayed married all these years he said, "Because no one else wants us."
But yet when our social worker dad spent all day EVERY day dealing with other people's problems, he always came home in a cheerful mood, and we always ran to the door to hug and kiss him, the minute we heard his key in the lock...up until we moved to college. Why? Because our dad was always ALWAYS there for us no matter what and he never ever said, "Don't bother me now, I'm busy." He always listened, had such funny, excellent advice and was always ready with a kiss, a hug, to hold us, our hand and wipe away our tears. And even though we never had money, we never lacked for anything, because what we lacked in stuff, they made up in love, creativity, humor and example. I lost my dearest daddy, just this year, and I miss him more than words can ever say. I can't imagine my life without him in it, but I got to spend 50 years with him, and for that, I am truly grateful.
Take oath on this"Father's Day" not to push your Father "Further away" every day !!
